PULL up on the cap - air then moves through a one-way air valve. PUSH down on the cap - air is then removed from the vent located at the top of the cap.
A one of a kind 100% activated carbon filter is placed inside the cap to block any unwanted odors from escaping. This unique fabric is breathable allowing air to pass through while simultaneously absorbing these odors.

Fully remove the cap from the actual jar itself, then:
- Place the cap back on. When you place it back on, giving it an extra tight twist into position, so you feel it securely locked in place.
- Hold the jar horizontal. One left hand on the jar and the right hand on the cap.
- Holding it tight with your left hand, act as if you want to pull the cap away from the jar. Fully extending the cap to the top.
